Godwin is an ex-banker with over 24 years’ experience in credit analysis, projects appraisal/ management, agricultural financing, technology, and development consultancy and has been an adviser to several micro- credit finance institutions in Nigeria.

He is a multi-learned professional in Sales, Customer Service Delivery, Sales, Branch Management, Leadership Development, Time
Management and has earned ISO 9001 Auditor Certificate. He began his career in the print and publishing industry where he held the role of Operations Manager with Baron Press Nig Ltd. He worked with the erstwhile Standard Trust Bank team, which became UBA after the banking recapitalisation, where he also made contributions in no small measure to the growth of UBA Plc.

As part of his contribution to the building of the UBA brand, he won the 2008 GMD award for “CREATIVE INITIATIVE”. He is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Economists (ICEN and presently a Director with Codebytes Ltd.
